These were taken in the very late in the afternoon with the sun just about ready to dip below the tree line. The skies were only starting to clear and the turbulent atmosphere made the seeing very poor.

Four sunspot groups and and two enormous filament were visible. The close ups suffer significantly from the poor seeing conditions and unfortunately are a bit soft in focus but the features are impressive nonetheless.
