Moon tonight 18/10/2010

Got in from work only to see clear skies so grabbed my scope and thought I would have a go at imaging the moon.

Setup:

4" reflector on EQ1 mount

Canon EOS 10D with T piece and cheap 2x Barlow

It's not the best shot as the image is a little blury ( I asume this is my focus being a little off) so any comments and suggestions are very welcome

I find its easier to focus on a bright star first. Lock the focus and then move the scope onto the Moon. Looks like you took a mosaic? You have managed a very good picture with some quite basic equipment - you should be proud of yourself.
