mini borg's

hello,

im trying to talk myself out of purchasing one of these mini-borg's. i do like the look of the Borg 45EDII F4.7 but at over a grand its a lot of money for a little bit of kit. some of the others r cheaper of course.

anyone using these or any of the rest of the range?

Mini Borg Astrographs - SCS Astro

do yo u think there is much difference between the two to make the 900 quid price difference worth it?

Much cheaper to import it yourself.

The mini-Borgs are excellent, albeit not cheap - take a look at SteveL's M42/Horsehead first light with the 60ED f/3.8

Both my Borg 77 and Borg 60 are top imaging scopes, really cant fault them on anything (once you get your head around the confusing part numbers and adapters and other bits you need). My 77 was bought direct from Hutech in the USA, and I saved a lot of money doing it that way.

You can also start with lenses, or SW/WO 66 ED.

sorry for the delay, had some issues to deal with...

Thanks for the comment about my images, I still get amazed at what the kit spits out and appears on my screen. Both of my Borgs are the f/4 astrograph versions, with the flat fields and fast focal ratios.
