Cresent Nebula, Equinox 66 APO

Took this last night with my Equinox 66 APO + Skywatcher field Flattener. Total 42 min (6 min subs) @ ISO 800, Mod Canon 400D + CLS filter. No darks No flats.

Nice image Lee, I really like the Jellyfish as I call it. Probably could have done with some flats to help reduce vignetting.

Thankyou. Yes you are right I should start taking flats. The raw frames looked free from vignetting but as I pushed the processing to bring out the detail it did magnify the small amount that must have been present. I can usually remove the vignetting in photoshop but with this target there is nebula covering the whole field so it makes it much more difficult.

Nice image. Have you got PixInsight? You can use it to perform dynamic (or is it 'automatic') background extraction to reduce the vignetting without flats.
