The problem with DSS seems to be, that it'll use all the calibration frames regardless... so if you have darks, flats and bias, then the bias will be used on the lights and flats... and that has caused me problems in the past, which is why I stopped using bias. I tried something the other night, and I think it worked...

load one light, the flats and the bias, set the black point to 0 etc as required for using bias and flats. Let the stack run through... ditch the file list, start again, but load the master flat, which is now bias adjusted, load all the other frames normally (remembering to set black point as not 0 etc as you aren't using bias frames this time). The result came out quite nicely (see the link)
