I observed 3 meteors this morning between 00:05 and 01:00. The first was quite a sight at approx 00:20 lasting 2 - 3 seconds with a good tail taking in about 15 - 20 degrees with its radiant emanating from below the Pleiades in Taurus. Not quite a 'fireball' but a very impressive meteor non the less. I observed another 2 smaller ones and a small one further to the east towards Orion so maybe my first Orionid this year also.
