Tonight (Sunday)

Recommended Posts

Well,

looking at the weather I will try and get outside tonight.

Being a complete novice can anyone recommend some fairly easy tagets (apart from jupiter) that I may be able to get a good look at.

I have a skywatcher 150p so things that this scope can see would be good.

Cheers

John

I'm very much a novice also, so some of the suggestions below might be complete nonsense... :(

The dual cluster is quite nice near to the constellation of Perseus (from my location it's usually up and to the right of Eta Persei). I can see them quite nicely with my 10x40 bins so you shouldn't have a problem with your scope (I think). You can also look for the pleiades cluster which will be rising in the north east at about 20:00.
