Iris Nebula

Hi folks

This is a better go at the Iris than I posted on Tuesday, also using a slightly bigger scope (Orion ED80 instead of my WO66, both with my WO FF)

This is a lovely object to image, so much structure and I love the bluish colours.

There's also quite a lot of dust in the surrounding medium, I'm sure a CCD would bring it out nicely, my DSLR only shows it slightly.

17 X 7 min subs at ISO 800, darks and bias subtracted, modded Canon 450D.

Stacked in DSS and processed in PS3
