It will work, sort of..... remember that it will make your minimum guide speed 1X when I usually guide at 0.25X speed. Other than that I dont see any problem with it at all.

HEQ5 and upgrade kit for £400 all in...sorted!

(wanted something really solid for viewing evenings and star parties...the EQ3-2 is a great mount, and will be used now for travelling/holiday duty
