A bit of fun with just a single 1/1000th sec sub

Hi all,

I was out last week with friends trying to image with a three quarter moon close by and not getting very far.

I thought, 'why not try the Moon?'

I haven't tried to seriously photograph the Moon before but took a series of 1/1000 sec subs and was pleased with what came out.

I tend to forget what a beautiful object Luna is to observe and image!

This is a single sub at ISO 200, tweaked in Photoshop CS3

I would have guessed that 1/1000 would under expose but it clearly has not. Exellent image and focus - well done!
