Jupiter from the 3rd

Not happy with my efforts on Jupiter so far but I don't like staying up so late!

Seeing has not been great down here for some reason, but we live in hope of something better before long.

It's a bit blue round the gills which I think is in part due to atmospheric conditiona and the camera which tends to produce bluer images.

Taken with my Europa 250mm, 3 x Barlow, IR filter and ATIK webcam.

Nice result! I think the colour rendition is rather good, and it is always nice to get the GRS in view. Seeing has been dreadful here, so I have not done any imaging (just some Messier-hunting).
