Flight case for HEQ5 and tripod???

Does anyone know if you can purchase a flight case for the tripod and mount ???

Could really do with one for transporting it.

Hello Neil.

You might be best off getting some good quality plywood and making your own.

Commercial flightcases aren't cheap.

No idea if they are specifically available for what you want....you would have thought so, with the popularity of that particular mount.

I made some light weight paniers/side boxes for my motor bike a couple years back for touring and camping abroard out of 3mm chequer plate and then riveted it all together and put on some locable hinges. I might look at doing the same again for tripod and mount.

May not find anything but look at a few golf shops/stores and see what they have. The length of the tripod is about the same.

I used to take take golf clubs abroad and the travel bag I had usually had several other bits inside.

Also 14 clubs weigh a fair bit so the travel cases are fairly robust also.
