Quite excited with this,Not because its a good pic, because it isnt, but because the camera caught it.

Ive messed it up a bit trying to resize it, to tired now to alter it, I'll have another go tomorrow.

Single shot, coolpix 4300, about 25secs.

That's great for a single 25 sec shot Martin.

You got the colour just right.

Presumably you imaged M42 not long before your post? I've tried Orion in the evening but it's just too low down.
