nexstar 6 se help!! wont switch on

ok had three great nights with my new scope, pretty much been getting through a set of batteries a night till my 12v power supply turns up.

however put a totally fresh set of batteries in it tonight and it wont switch on?

had a similar thing last night but one quick jiggle of the batteries and it was fine all night, tonight nothing?

any suggestions?

i dont have the wall power lead to test it , what could it be?

its ok panic over, yes its true the batteries really dont fit very well in a nexstar

cant wait for my power tank to arrive

You will find it all sooo much simpler when it does.

To be honest I,be had fantastic fun every night apart from the first, and last night was amazing as I waited up for the moon and Venus. Seen quite a few faint fuzzies and even saw I tiny tiny amount of detail on the cigar galaxy i think
