NGC6946 - It's been a long long time

It has been a long time since I have managed any imaging, it got to the point where I had almost forgotten how it is done.

Unfortunately I had to send my Atik back for fixing so it is back to using the trusty Canon 1000D, pity about the moon though but I couldn't wait any longer.

Image of NGC6946 the details:-

Modded Canon 1000D ISO400 54X5mins (4.5 hours) on a 190 Mak Newt sitting on a Vixen Atlux.

Guided with PHD using a QHY5v on a 50mm finderscope.

Flats, Darks and bias frames applied, stacked using DSS and mucked around in photoshop.

Thanks for looking and any critique welcome.

I might try and get more data for this subject, longer exposures when the moon is gone.
