M33.(Triangulum)

Hi.I took this image of M33 in the early hours of Thurs 19th August.It was one of those rare clear still nights.The milky way shone brightly and M33 could even be seen as a faint haze in 7x50 binocs.

The image was taken using a Celestron C80 at F7.3.Three 10min subs were taken for the Lunminance and stacked to-gether.Three 10 min subs of RGB were then taken.

All were processed and merged in Photo-shop,with some slight enhancement.

Hello Mick,

Nice result you have there.

I think you should tinker a bit with the colour balance of the image. It looks greenish to me. I would also recommend to select the galaxy (e.g. lasso tool in Photoshop) and process using a sharpening filter.
