I use a 4mm for planetary work. It is very sharp and contrasty, and very easy to use with 20mm eye relief.

Never used a radian, but it is considerably sharper than the Naglers or orthoscopics I've used.

The shorter focal lengths are only 45° fov, but for planetary work that doesn't matter. What there is, is sharp right to the edge.
