has any here had any experience with the Vixen NLV EPs that FLO have started to sell?

i would love to know how they compare against Televue's Radian series

I use a 4mm for planetary work. It is very sharp and contrasty, and very easy to use with 20mm eye relief.

Never used a radian, but it is considerably sharper than the Naglers or orthoscopics I've used.

The shorter focal lengths are only 45° fov, but for planetary work that doesn't matter. What there is, is sharp right to the edge.

i know, on paper, that the radians offer 60 degree over the NLVs 45 and 50 respectivley
