astro mick Posted August 15, 2010 Share Posted August 15, 2010 Hi Folks.Yesterday it was fairly sunny on the East coast,come nightfall in rolled the cloud off the North Sea.To-day fairly sunny start,but now midday the cloud is building,i dont think theres any hope for to-night.Also this comming week looks very poor again.When will it all end.Positive note! Lowstar Posted August 15, 2010 Share Posted August 15, 2010 Last night was the best viewing conditions so far this summer. The temps weren`t too cold and clear, mist free skies prevailed. Jupiter was huge in the eyepiece! I left it till last though and concentrated on the DSO`S surrounding the Big Dipper. A good night indeed.
