Hi.

I last managed to observe on the 9/08/10.Patchy cloud dominated,but in between managed a few nice doubles.

Instrument Celestron C8 at magnification of 132x.

66 cyg.

R/A=21.17

Dec=+34.54 Sep= 15.1 arc mins Pos Angle 220.

I saw this as a Bright 4.4mag Primary with 2 faint secondarys at 10 arc secs & 21.5 arc secs.

The primary to me had a yellowish tint.No colour seen in the secondarys.

Double Star 434.

R/A=21.19

Dec=+39.45 Prim= Mag 6.7 Sec= Mag 9.5

Sep= 24.7 arcmins, Pos Angle= 122.

Fairly wide double,well seen at times 132x

Both stars to me appeared white.

Double Star 2789.

R/A=21.20

Dec= + 52.59 Prim=Mag 7.7 Sec= Mag 7.7

Sep=6.7 arc mins, Pos angle= 115.

This was a lovely Double of equal components well split at 132x.

Primary and secondary to me looked yellow.

Double Star 437.

R/A=21.20

Dec= 32.27 Prim= Mag 6.2 Sec= 6.9

Sep= 2.1 arc mins, Pos angle 28.

Close double,although split with patience and improved seeing.

Both Primary and Secondary to me appeared yellowish.

Clear Skies.

Mick
