Bino viewer advice needed

If I want to use a bino viewer with my ED refractors is it more "in" or "out" focusser travel that I will need - has anyone used a bino viewer with either an ED100 or an ED80, if so what are your experiences ?.

You need "in" focus. Other than a Barlow lens system (which is what the adaptors are) you can either cut the tube down (eek!! :shock:) or not use a diagonal all to bring the bino into focus.

Using a prism diagonal instead of a mirror may be enough as well, but it has worked with some of my refractors and not others.

No mate, the bottom line is:

You need to get the binos nearer the scope.

Theres no way round it except if you use a Barlow.
