I really recommend that you get this book on using NexStars!

The NexStar User's Guide Patrick Moore's Practical Astronomy Series: Amazon.co.uk: Michael Swanson: Books

I am learning a lot from it. Its much more indepth that the instruction manual and gives lots of tips and tricks on how to get great alignment and tracking! Every NexStar should come with one!
