Easy way to find angle of separation?

Recommended Posts

I may be missing something obvious but is there an easy way to do this?

For instance; If I want to include two stars in My eyepiece and I know the EP has a afov of 2 degs can I easily find out if again for instance , Pollux and Castor are 2 degs apart?

Clcik on one and then the other in Stellarium for instance?

Sorry if I am rambling

If you are using a fairly up-to-date version of Stellarium there is a plugin for measuring angular distance between sky objects. You just have to make sure that to set the configuration so that it gets loaded at startup.
