toml42
I nearly shouted that out loud just then, when viewing jupiter for the first time!I knew it was big and all, but it practically filled the eyepiece! It was dazzlingly bright, and despite a streetlight being almost directly between me and the king of planets, i could clearly see the remaining equatorial band, and plenty of detail in the rest of the disc. 3/4 bright moons visible, europa hidden behind jupiter at the time. Eat your heart out Gallileo!Looking forward to spending more time with this mighty planet, as it rises higher into darker skies.
