IC1396 taken over 2 nights.

26 x 10 min subs + Darks + Flats taken using - Skywatcher Evostar 100ED DS-Pro and QHY8 CCD in Nebulosity 2

Guided using Skywatcher Startravel 80 and QHY5 and PHD

Stacked in DSS and processed in PS3.

Hi Martin, this is an excellent start with good tracking and lots of data captured but the image is suffering from vignetting - taking FLATS would help a lot here. I have applied a false flat to your image to give an indication of what I am talking about and made a couple of adjustments in curves and colour saturation:-

Thanks for that Steve...I did use FLATS but they dont seem to make any difference. I will have to shoot another set at different ADU settings and see which ones are the best

Flats are without doubt NOT an exact science!! Good luck with getting the exposure for them correct. I use an electro-luminescent panel for mine but even this is not without its issues. I have a great plugin for MaximDL that makes things a lot easier but colour casts can still be an issue.

I use an EL panel...Will do some more tonight, going to try to get another couple of hours of data.
