SCAG organising July observing

SCAG are hard at work planning our next observing session. To be held on the weekend of 10th/11th July, so only two weeks away. The weekend of 17th/18th will be the backup dates just in case of the weather.

We are also looking to use a new site(s) for this meet. The aim is to see a couple of Messiers low in the south and we need an excellent southern horizon (with the IOW out of the way). As a result we are looking for sites right on the coast. We have one already sorted near Swanage but that is too far some of the members. So were aiming to split this session into east and west members. The east bunch probably still meeting in the New Forest but in one of the coastal villages.

So if you are in the region and fancy some star party type observing pop into our social group and join the plans.
