was looking at a SW super MA 3.6mm EP for my 130p truss dob for observing moon and planets. Im using a 10mm as my highest magnification at the moment. Is the 3.6 a good EP? with my focal length the max i could use would be a 2.5mm or 5mm + 2 times barlow

Hi Rich

For the Money I would go for an orthoscopic, apparent field of view is about the same and the ortho will give a better view.

You can pick them up S/H for about £20.

Agreed, a good second hand ortho or even plossl would be better than the super MA.
