Hi,

Can anyone advise me of the best PC software to get, please.

At the moment I have 'Starry Night Backyard' but it doesn't seem to like Windows 7 as it keeps flashing, although it used to work well with XP.

Virtual Moon Atlas

I run Windows 7 and both Stellarium and the above run great.

It's not planetarium software, but Celestia is a "Space Simulator" - I haven't found it as useful as Stellarium, but it's very interesting to play with.

rob - i've downloaded the linux version of virtual moon atlas but i run linux and i've not managed to install it yet cuz it doesn't seem a simple install. i'm lookin forward to givin it a try tho
