Hi,

I managed to get the home built focuser working with the Ascom driver that we have written and now can focus between filters. This was a problem before as I have cheap Chinese filters that are not par focal. So all in all an absolutely fantastic night, and t-shirt weather all night! I had forgotten how short the nights had become :D

So here are a couple of test shots which are not that great but to me are fantastic as the focus is now soooo much better (first time I used focusmax and what a lovely program it is)....even with a couple of dodgey subs left in!

M13 is LRGB 2 x 60s

NGC 6992 is LRGB 7 x 300 s

:D

Great results, and you've done yourself the world of good in view of your filters not being parfocal. Focusing manually for each one would be a real PITA, so well done on removing that headache.:D

Ron.
