LX10 Conversion Complete :)

At last i think Im where i want to be for a while. (never say never )

OMG its huge !!! and this is only an 8" OTA.

Meade 8" SCT |Celestron CG5 Computerised with GPS.

Converting the LX10 was pretty straight forward just a few stiff and awkward bolts.

a good combination Earl, I had a C8 on a CG5-GT for a while and even did imaging with it with a guide sope and it was pretty good. If you are just doing visual, I expect it will do you well for some time.

My Long term goal is plenty of photographic work, but this set-up will be used as my Visual, It will do some photo work for me while I learn etc.

I just hooked up to my PC with stellarium, quick choose scope configure done and working straight away !!!

Now even the Missus was seriously impressed with that !

Nothing wrong with the LX10 OTA, had one for a few years and my mate still has his after a fair old while now, nice optics.
