PDAs in astronomy

I was just reading an article about the history of SCTs and wondered..

Since many scopes can now be controlled using laptops and celestial software can a PDA be used in the same way.

Is there software for PDAs and can it be connected? I wonder how far off it is if we can't yet?

Most PDA/Pocket PC's (with either serial or USB) can run scopes with cut-down software. My own Lumicon NGC can be controlled from my Acer N10 pocket PC (with The Sky Pocket Edition) and although it's a push-to systemit will interface via the LX protocol with any scope. Not to mention the several Bluetooth control systems out there...
