Just checking out the moon in my 15 x 70 binos on this lovely evening.

The large crater Copernicus caught my eye.:)

I cannot see the peaks in my binos.maybe there still in the dark?

Also just bought a copy of that colour guide to the moon, mars and venus to help in future identification!

They were when I was looking (up to approx. 2100 UT / 10pm BST) when it clouded over .... only 2 missed days solar observations so far this month but only 3 partly clear nights!
