Parfocalising

I got hold of a couple of parfocalising rings. If I set them to make my eyepieces parfocal on a given scope, will the EPs remain parfocal on a different scope? Or would the two scopes need to have the same focal ratio?

Once parfocalised with each other they will work on any scope. Independent of focal length/ focal ratio.

Cheers for that Ken, good to know. Easier to do it on my little refractor rather than lugging out the dob.

If I ever get the funds together for a set of Ethoi I intend to get the parfocalising rings for them for use in the paracorr. Little to no focus adjusments nor having to remember paracorr settings!
