Another galaxy pair to try

So after two amazing nights and 18 new galaxies...

My favorite new galaxies last night were a pair of barred spiral galaxies in Virgo. NGC 4609 and NGC 4596 make up a nice pair just next to the Y of stars that I often use as a setting off point to M87 and the messier Virgo galaxies..These two are faint and small but they are both visible in the low power eyepiece which is fine.

NGC 4866 was another notable galaxy. Long and thin with a field star that looks like a SN on one end.

NGC 4710 is a little out of the ordinary. Unusual oval shape to the eye. Now I have checked the hubble images I know why..

Clear skies.
