Unsettled weather overnight cleared during the morning. The Sun however is very quiet, completely blank in white light & very nearly so in CaK:

Just for a change I made a close up of the centre of the disk to show what the quiet Sun looks like in CaK:

There are no bright plage areas visible in Ha either. However the large complex of filaments in the north / north west persists, there is also a notable filament near the west limb; and a number of prominences scattered round the limb; all this is best illustrated by an "overview" shot (composite of limb & disc images):

This shows everything there is to see, apart from a faint group of prominences on the SW limb:

There are closeup images of the NW disc filaments and the other prominences in my Photobucket album for today.

Transparency very good. Seeing moderate with significant boiling. Temperature 14C, wind NW force 2-3.
