Is that whats doing it? It's been driving me mad this past week trying to get rid of the green cast

Had another go - got rid of some of the green. I used a Photoshop plug-in, Hasta La Vista Green - from here ------http://blog.deepskycolors.com/archivo/2010/04/26/hasta-La-Vista-Green.html

Like TJ the first image appears on my screen to have a green cast to it,the second,magenta.

I combined a copy of each in PSC3 and darkened the background ( too much perhaps?) which seems to make the subject clearer. The downside of course being the loss of some background stars.

Give it a try and see what you come up with.
