M36 and M48 - two loose open clusters

Did these two as the first objects upon getting back to the 'scope this month, more for practice than anything else. M36 of course is well known, actually I'd meant to do M37 and was flummoxed when I tried to match up the star pattern with CdC, until I realised I'd homed in on the wrong object! Ah the perils of star-hopping! :D:o:) Never mind, here's an M36 after all that... This is 16 * 1minute at ISO1600.

M48 in Hydra is rather more ill-defined, telescopically at least, though it's quite prominent in the bins. Basically most of the stars in the middle of the frame belong to the cluster, that's about it! It would probably look better in widefield. This time it was 14 x 1minute.

Both these were done on 14 April.
