Hmm, I like the new one because the core has more of a blaze to it, as at the EP. (However, I would quietly bung those two outlying bright stars from the original onto the new one.)

I agree with Rob, never seen the core handled so well. It isn't easy to get such intense star colour when the stars are so tiny. Unless you've tried to image a glob you won't know quite what a piece of work this is.

What a hum dinger of an image. Fantastic work Steve and a great idea to crank up the Mak Newt. The seeing was brilliant the night you were imaging this. I can't really judge the 2 processes on this monitor at work which black clips but the 2nd looks better for what it's worth. Might be completely different at home.
