m45 reprocess and 51 help please

been going over old data as no time or good weather to get out and image last night was spot on though had a problem with mount causing to re align so subs were all over the place how can i touch up the image overlaps

If you're using Photoshop, try playing with Image->Adjustments->Replace colour

EDIT:This was just RRREALLY quick play, 1 minute at the most. A bit more fiddling and you may get much better good results

Do you apply one image over the other in Photoshop? If so, always crop the edge artifacts off the top one and then get the background as close as you can. Then feather the edges of the top one using eraser at a middling percentage. Only then blend the two.

If you have already combined all images before Ps then could you not take one from a stack with a background that's okay in the area where you see the joins, and apply just that bit of sky over the joints? Erase the rest and use a wide feather on the bit you keep.

I do a lot of this jiggery pokery when applying small hi res images over widefields.
