Might go for a stroll....

Evening all, well it turned out to be a clear evening here in west sussex so i think after dinner i will go for a stroll with the Bino's and see what i can find!

At the moment Orion is very low towards the west from where i am so get some lovely views of that, i think mars is also above me southwards, are there anythings near that area that would be good to spot with binoculars tonight?

M44 is right next to Mars at the mo, and that should look great through your bins. Have a lovely walk, it's certainly a beautiful evening here in Wiltshire.

Hi steph, thanks for the comment. I had heard about the m44 being near mars atm, i recently downloaded stellarium and just checked it out. That will be incredible to see with the bino's! Will post here again when i have been out and let you know what i see!

Well i went for my stroll! saw orion, Ursa major, Venus, mars and M44, so V.productive! here is result of first sketch!
