After alot of messing with, here is Saturn from last week. Not as good as my first Saturn but still great to get the image down. Taken with the 200 using the neximage. 927 frames from 3615 frames, 120 second avi. Stacked in registax5. Not sure about the colour but i`m still learning:).

All advice welcome.

Thanks for looking.

That's pretty nice still Andy - a little more scale would help if you have the barlows (don't forget, extension tube on single barlow increases f ratio/image scale!)

Colours not too bad either.....don't know anything about the Neximage but if it has red and blue colour controls/sliders the trick is to get them set so that the onscreen image looks like the planet through the ep.....or resembles that creamish-yellow colour seen with the naked eye.

You can image Saturn for 4.5 minutes (270seconds) and still capture detail in the clouds if you have really good seeing and are lucky - this length of time should be employed as it should give you sufficient frames to be quite particular with the % you keep to stack for the final image!
