NGC 2174 The Monkey Head Nebula

31 x 4mins ISO800 Modded Canon 1000D MPCC+CLS LP filter stuck on a F/4 10" Schmidt Newtonian guided with PHD and processed in PS.

Can't really decide how red to make it so I left it where the left side shows a brighter/redder edge.

Maybe pushed just a tad too hard as the RED has just about saturated on the left hand edge... certainly a big improvement in the images over the last few weeks

I would agree with Billy on the colour and a little clipped on the black would be my only suggestion
