I know that this telescope is now replaced by a new model with a black optical tube and a white mount, but I found the older model secondhand and I am considering it as a grab and go solution.

Are there any known issues with the optical tube or the mount?

Does anyone know what is the weight of the optical tube and the mount with the alluminium tripod? How portable is this telescope?

Look at FLO under focusers (or other shop). I've seen in few places SkyWatcher Cryford focuser for Newtonians. Also a friend of mine upgraded to Baader Steeltrack focuser (it can handle SBIG camera )

It does not mention that the Skywatcher Newtonian Focuser 1.25/2 inch will also work with a 150mm reflector. Anyone tried this?

You may need to drill some holes or use different mounting plate curved for the smaller tube (they say it's a drop-in replacement for 200mm and bigger Newtonians). Talk to the shop support about getting the right focuser and stuff.

There are also GSO (Revelation) and Antares focuser for Newtonians at low price.

What about the Astronomica 2" Crayford Focuser for Newtonians? This is advertised as designed to fit any Newtonian reflector of 6" to 12" diameter. Has anyone tried it?
