Leo triplet & Seagull nebula (IC2177)

A couple from Sunday 7th March. Both on a modified Canon 40d through a FLT98cf with Televue TRF2008 reducer/flattener.

The seagull nebula shot was a mistake but it's not a unpleasant surprise, I thought I was shooting something else, should look through the viewfinder next time !

Exposure times

Leo triplet - 80mins (16 x 5 mins + darks)

Seagull - 50 mins (10 x 5 mins + darks)

Not a bad mistake at all!!! Very nice and i think its the first image i`ve seen of this this winter.....

Must admit it was a pleasant surprise, not what I expected to see. It then took me some web searching to identify it.
