etx from suffolk

hi all

at the weekend i picked up my new scope etx 125 PE,wow what a piece of equipment it is!

had a good look around, under the very dark skies of deepest Suffolk,amazing to watch the scope slew to what ever target was asked for.

many thanks to martin (who is a regular sgl reader, but not member yet)for a crash course in setting the scope up,and his wife for the hot coffee and cakes!

was impressed with what i saw m42 very nice amount of nebulosity trapezium i thought i could see 5 at some points,m45 stunning at low power,mars very nice,it was fun just selecting random messier objects then looking to see what you get.

cant wait too put it along side my c8 and do some comparisons
