M42 & M43 - Yes another one......

Here's my try at M42 and M43. Image consists of 90mins of 60sec subs taken over 2 distant nights (1st night in January, second in March ). I'm pleased with the way it's turned out, apart from the gradients, but it's been so long since I've had good enough skies to get an image that I couldn't wait any longer and posted it. Hopefully will get a chance for some more subs and processing soon.

Very nice Neil, my camera is clicking away outside right now on the M42 and I would be really pleased if it came out like yours, well done,,,Paul.

You know that really is very good indeed, isn't it. It is subtle, free from defects and very true to the natural luminosities with the Running Man far more faint that M42.

It is very nice indeed in my book.

The gradient is hardly significant, especially with so much going on in the background sky thereabouts.
