Portable mounts

I use a 200p on a HEQ5, I want to keep everything set up in the dinning room and just wheel it through the patio doors when I want to use it. I thought about a pier that they sell at FLO, they look stable enough and with the wheels I can come and go as I please. But it's about 180 quid, which I haven't really got at the moment.

Is there a trolly or something you can put the existing tripod onto?....or has anybody got any other ideas?

JMI make a small 3 wheeled trolley which fits under the tripod. However, I think it's a similar price to the FLO wheeled pier. If you're handy at DIY, it might give you some ideas on how to make one.

Thanks for the links and ideas, appreciated, and given me some things to think about.

M.Tweedy - I really like that idea in the link you posted, easy and simple to do - not sure about tilting all that weight back on a sack barrow - but i'm going to look further into that one, see what I can come up with. Cheers.
