Decided to just stick my 50mm lens onto the DSIII last night.

Clouds were a pain in the backside, fleeting across the sky all the time, and always just where I was pointing :eek:

Light pollution is bad too where I live but heres what I got with a few 30sec exposures. I deliberately put the treetop in for perpective :evil6:
