So many moons, so few clues....

Anybody got any good ideas as to how to tell which of Saturns moons is which? Obviously it's easy enough with Jupiter, but with Saturn, my planetarium software (SkyVoyager by Carina Software for iPhone) isn't much help. Any ideas?

A lot of people use Stellarium as an aid to show whats on view from their position on the Earth.

Works wonders especially at the moment due the bad weather.

Cartes du ciel is another prog that shows the moons of Saturn (and other planets as well)

I use the free open source software Stellarium Stellarium

but you obviously need a computer to run it on. It always works for me. Also the Astronomy mags usually show the position of the moons.

Or, have a look at SkyandTelescope.com - Interactive Observing Tools - Saturn's Moons Javascript Utility and use the java tool listed there. You put your date and time of observation in, and you can invert the view as needed to get what you see in the scope.
