Correct Solar Filter

The Astrozap will work 100%.

An alternative is to buy a packet of the Baader Solar film and make your own.

The continuum filter isn't mandatory..... it has the potential of improving the contrast and making finer detail easier to see. ( I use one because it works for me!)

Me too. Many people do however say that the ordinary green (Wratten 58) works very nearly as well.

If you don't use something in conjunction with Baader Solar Film (ND5.0) you will likely find the image is unconfortably but not dangerously bright when using a low to moderate power. But whatever you use on the Moon will do.
