Hi,

Just finished a week of 12 hour shifts and the sky was perfect last night so set everything up and did another little tour.

No problems for a change and the ACP web control even works on the iphone so i can check everything from bed..

M101 is about 30 x 300s lum

M64 30 x 300s min

M13 20 x 120 secs

NGC2903 20 x 300 sec

NGC 2903 has a great structure I am amazed it was missed from the Messier catalogue.

Nice Set Neil ;)

Flats next ? or a cleaning session?

I have given Megrez setup a spring clean today...

I broke it all down and cleaned the flattner, filter and both inside and outside of the lens cell... tweaked the focuser tension up a bit and checked to see if everything was sitting square...

Peter...that was cleaned yesterday..but only quickly...I set ACP to do slight shifts between images to try and compensate a bit.

yep got to do flats next and I am also starting to do a drift alignment every session (starting last night) using Eqalign so hopefully I will slowly improve it over time. The Alt screws are a B&%$& though...they will end up broken within a year.

I was out until 11 and then left it running on Auto. One of the local guys near me was complaining the turbulence was too bad but I managed some subs that weren´t too bad.

I should be refining the drift alignment tonight but a bit too lazy!
